Dr. David Coleman Interview
Dr. Barbara Corkey interviews Dr. David Coleman, Chair of Department of Medicine at Boston University regarding his efforts to increase women in leadership positions in his department and field. He also discusses general topics focused on leadership and how gender bias impacts women's careers.
Women's Interprofessional Network
The Women's Interprofessional Network of the American Diabetes Association (WIN ADA) is our members-only network for female clinicians, scientists, educators, and other health professionals in diabetes. The group’s goals are simple, yet profound: Strengthen the voice and presence of women in diabetes research and clinical practice Recognize the significant contributions of women to the diabetes field Provide career development and networking opportunities to women of all career stages to help them achieve their full potential Increase research efforts on women’s health and sex as a biological variable in diabetes
WIN ADA Longitudinal Course
WIN ADA Advisory Group is seeking applicants for the new WIN ADA Longitudinal Course. The WIN ADA Longitudinal Course will consist of 4x2-hour-long sessions over the course of a year and is a professional development opportunity for ADA members.
